What Services does
Services gives a professional services firm one place to run client work. Set up clients and engagements with phases, milestones and budgets, staff people against capacity, and capture time in a weekly grid or with a timer. Expenses and claims follow their own policy, and a billing review turns unbilled work into draft invoices under time and materials, fixed fee or milestone terms. Issued invoices are frozen, corrections are credit notes, and payments and ageing show what is still owed. Utilisation, realisation, margin and work in progress come from the same records, so the numbers always agree. Your assistants work alongside you: they can log time from a message, draft the month's invoices, chase overdue accounts and put any report into a sheet.
